We do not breed often, and we are very selective about who is bred....Our goal is to produce beautiful, healthy puppies with the typical loving, easy-going temperament that the Golden Retriever is known for. We are also very careful who our puppies go to, so don't be surprised if we ask you lots of questions about your lifestyle and what your expectations are for the new member of your family. Our puppies are whelped and raised in our home and are socialized with children, adults and other dogs. They are exposed to a variety of situations to help them adjust quickly to their new families and their new homes. All of our dogs used for breeding have the following clearances: Hip and Elbow certification by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) Eyes cleared yearly by a board certified ophthalmologist Heart cleared by a board certified cardiologist. All pet puppies are sold on an AKC Limited Registration and Spay/Neuter Contract. AKC Limited Registration allows puppies to compete in all AKC venues with the exception of Conformation. However, any offspring produced by a dog on an Limited Registration cannot be registered with the AKC. You can find more information on Limited Registration on the AKC website.
